Bathroom Install, Charlbury

We designed the bathroom, working closely with our client, ensuring every detail was taken into consideration. Making sure the colour of the tiles helped make the room feel bright and open and the Karndean flooring to suit. Having a wood effect flooring going through the bathroom and cloak room is a nice way to be in keeping with the age of the cottage.

While removing the old bathroom, we had to have a test done for asbestos, we take safety very serious with in JD bathrooms and kitchens. Thankfully the test came back negative, and we could resume with the bathroom renovation.

Work Included

Within the bathroom, we went with a marble effect tile and a smoked grout and silicon in brick effect, giving the walls some nice texture.

Having a 2-tap hole basin and pedestal is a simple but very effective design.

Due to the way the old plumbing was, we had to improvise on the design for the cloak room, by building out box work and tiling it, with a concealed toilet cistern and a back to wall pan.

By doing this we have created a nice ledge space for ornaments or rolled up bathroom towels

All of the project was carried out by our team at JD bathrooms and kitchens. From carpentry, plastering, decorating, plumbing and electrical work.
