Traditional Cottage in Bladon

Why follow the age of the home you live in, This Traditional cottage within the centre of Bladon, Oxfordshire had a contemporary twist within their bathroom.

Our team at JD bathrooms and kitchens designed and installed this modern airy bathroom with high ceilings, Still keeping the character of the home by leaving the wooden beams exposed and original doors.

Work Included

To get to this finished product, we had to undertake a full removal of the old bathroom, Rerouting the plumbing so the shower tray could be installed on the floor with no step up. With in the bathroom, our customer wanted a free-standing bathtub with free standing bath taps, a wall hung Basin unit, a walk-in shower area and concealed shower valves.

Our electricians installed 3 spotlights, 1 in between each beam to distribute the light throughout the room. Having an LED mirror above the basin unit can help with your day-to-day bathroom uses, for shaving or applying makeup.

The colour scheme with the Light floor tiles and dark wall tiles gives you that open and spacious feeling.

All of the project was carried out by our team at JD bathrooms and kitchens. From carpentry, plastering, decorating, plumbing and electrical work.
